Between December 2024 and February 2025, Dutch Automation & Technologies supported the complete installation and commissioning of a high-capacity inline chocolate processing system in Dubai, UAE.
The project involved a CAO4000 inline processing installation in a modern food-production facility, where our involvement started from the moment the equipment arrived on site and continued through to final commissioning and operational startup.
Following the successful completion of this first installation, an additional five systems were installed for the same customer.
Full Installation Support
Dutch Automation & Technologies assisted throughout the complete installation phase, including:
- Equipment unpacking and positioning
- Mechanical installation support
- Electrical and automation integration
- Utility and process connections
- Commissioning preparation
- Functional testing and startup assistance
The installation included multiple inline process units, ingredient handling systems, screw conveyors, process tanks, pumps and integrated automation systems operating together as one continuous production process.
Industrial Food-Grade Environment
The installation was completed in a high-standard food production environment where hygiene, accessibility and reliability were essential.
The project featured:
- Stainless steel processing equipment
- Structured cable management systems
- Hygienic piping layouts
- Integrated process automation
- Clean installation finishing
- Service-friendly equipment positioning
Attention to detail during installation and commissioning was critical to ensure stable and reliable production performance.
Automation & Commissioning
As part of the commissioning activities, Dutch Automation & Technologies supported:
- IO and field verification
- Functional testing
- Process interlock validation
- Startup sequencing
- Process optimisation support
- Troubleshooting during commissioning
- Integration between mechanical and automation systems
Large inline processing systems rely heavily on correct interaction between process sections, drives, pumps, conveyors and control systems. The commissioning phase focused on ensuring smooth and stable operation across the full installation.
Continued Expansion
The success of the first installation resulted in continued expansion at the facility, where we also were responsible for adding five additional systems later installed for the same customer.
Projects like these reflect the type of international industrial support Dutch Automation & Technologies provides worldwide, combining practical installation knowledge with automation and commissioning expertise in real production environments.
